JESSE M. COHEN
Jesse is one of our founders and directs the non-paralegal operations of the company, such as sales, marketing, and finance. Jesse helped found Paramount during the pandemic when he saw the industry shifting from in person work to remote work. Jesse lives in Los Angeles and is active in the arts.
LISA M. LILLEY
Lisa is one of our founders and director of all paralegal operations. She helped found Paramount after realizing the value of working from home and spending more time with family. Lisa has over ten years experience as a litigation paralegal handling highly complex matters all around the country. Lisa has expertise with every type of work product from complaints and discovery to motions and demand packages.
VALERI RIESENFELD
Val has a background as a court stenographer, which allows her to fully understand and appreciate the needs of our law firm clients. Val handles marketing and client relationships for our East Coast operations. Val lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband, an attorney and part owner of Paramount.
Heather M. Abissi, Research Attorney
Heather M. Abissi, is an attorney beginning her 16th year of practice, having served as an Executive Assistant District Attorney, Criminal Defense Attorney, Civil Rights Attorney, Tort Attorney, Family Law Attorney, Matrimonial Attorney, and Senior Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York, and Corporate Outside Counsel. Ms. Abissi’s current practice is focused on legal writing, editing, contract negotiation, oral argument, trial support and strategy. She particularly enjoys helping other attorneys succeed and achieve more time and balance by helping them with their legal research and writing.
